Boy Books – Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin – and others

Here are the library books we are enjoying recently.

Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin by Lloyd Moss. It is no wonder that this one is a hit at our house. Monkey loves music. Mr. FMK declared this one a hit too, which is rare praise.

Brush, Brush, Brush! Both my kids like this one. I don’t know why. It might be that you can sing the text to the tune of “Do Your Ears Hang Low”. I like that it reinforces brushing.

Mr. Cookie Baker by Monica Wellington. I love books that defy gender stereotypes. In this book, the baker is a man. This book gets my 3-year-old boy to play pretend kitchen. Yes! Thank you, Monica Wellington.

Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker and Tom Lichtenheld. This book came to our house via a tip from Stacy of Boy, Oh, Boy, OhBoy! She does a series on books for boys, and this is a favorite in their house.
